In 1998 when I joined it was only gonna be 4 years 2018 I retired Surfman374 BMC (E7) Chief when I retired I thought I was done for could barely walk on 26 prescriptions and left thinking this sucks! But I never gave up! After 10 major surgeries from 2010-2018 and still kicking ass it definitely kicked mine! But now I’m totally sober and doing what I have too… GOD Bless Brothers & Sisters

Had 3 Lumbar Fusions, Cervical Fusion, Both Shoulders Rebuilt, Both Wrists, and Right Knee fixed. As well as some other work but let me tell ya it’s worth it! Happy Veterans Day Y’all #veterans #work #nevergiveup #dmr

I say amen! Unfortunately Texas doesn’t seem to share the same love for our National Heroes as Our Family Does… because they should have never ever let this happen! I wonder what Chris Kyle thought? I wonder what every active duty member or reserve or veteran thinks when another hero gets silenced?

I found this question interesting for me it’s a BIG Nope makes me know the 20 years I put in is appreciated, the 100’s of 1000’s of Lives I rescued worth it! The Service Connected 100% earned! The 100% Combat Related earned! The 20 years away from my family, my friends, my place I called home was my sacrifice so yeah I love when people say Happy Veterans Day! Your honoring my my fellow Surfman (I’m Surfman374) my Fellow #USCG #CoastGuardVeterans 🫶‼️❤️ but let me tell ya retirement yes I retired in 2018 now that’s been hell I lost my family unfortunately divorced , company GatorGripp , Spearfishing tournament rigsreefclassicspearfishing everything… even my hobby SaltySoulTaxidermy and my favorite boat SaltySoulPanga unfortunately some bad things happened because bad people said I was involved in some really bad shit, but GOD knows the truth and I’m thankful I’m alive, sober, learned to walk, again 2nd time and lost the 120lbs my prayer hopefully I will be reunited with my kids my family. Let me tell ya Anxiety, Depression, Insomnia, PTSD, and Yes Suicide Attempts all on active duty definitely show that what we did for your freedom comes with a price I still don’t know why people in this community turned completely against me since I retired! It’s been hell!

By the Way I’m Sober! Haven’t had any CBD in 10 months, a drink in 14 month. No cannabis in two years, no pills in 3.5 years! Lost 120 Lbs eat cleaner than I ever have! Walk further than I ever imagined I would again! And hand the ptsd, pain, anger, anxiety, depression, insomnia, and thoughts of suicide back to GOD Daily through meditation and prayer! Amen 🙏🏾
