Lonely • Loneliness • Alone

“Lonely Sucks”!

Psalm 34:18 tells us that “The Lord is close to the broken-hearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” In Psalm 25:16-17, the writer gives us a prayer to God in a time of loneliness:

“I am lonely and afflicted, relieve the troubles of my heart and free me from my anguish.”

Amen

GOD will see what you do and bless that you don’t need praise online for that’s not a real blessing real blessings come from god and doing what’s right when no one is looking! #Integrity #GodSeesEverything #GodSeesAll #GodSeesYou #GodSees #godseesitall #Godseesme #godseeyou #lovelightinspire

Isaiah 41:10

Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

Genesis 2:18

Then the Lord God said, “It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him a helper fit for him.”

When we are alone God has the opportunity to speak to us and receive our undivided attention. Nine times in the gospels we are told that Jesus went away to a lonely place to be with the father. Jesus sought out solitude so he could seek the father’s will for his life.

In Philippians 4, Paul talks about the secret to being content. While having the desire for marriage is not a bad thing, we are called to be content, even if God calls us to be single, through our love for Jesus alone. God has a unique plan and purpose for your life, and wants to use you for his glory in this world.
