For betrayal I hope you all die

For betrayal to the service I protected I hope you all die The United States Life-Saving Service (USLSS) was a federal agency established in 1871 dedicated to rescuing shipwrecked mariners. It operated approximately 280 stations along the U.S. coasts and the Great Lakes before merging with the Revenue Cutter Service to form the U.S. Coast Guard in 1915.The service is highly regarded for its “storm fighters”—local fishermen and mariners who used wooden surfboats, cork life jackets, and the Lyle gun (a device used to shoot a rescue line to stranded ships) to save over 186,000 lives.Today, the legacy of these maritime heroes is preserved by the U.S. Life-Saving Service Heritage Association.Would you like to learn more about the:Historical equipment and rescue techniques used by surfmen?Specific stations located in a particular state or region?Researching records of USLSS keepers and crew members? @surfman374 David Michael Ramsey U.S. Coast Guard
