A Prayer for Protection and Strength

Heavenly Father,

We come to You with deep gratitude for the brave men and women who serve on the front lines as our first responders. We lift up law enforcement officers, firefighters, paramedics, and all emergency personnel who daily place themselves in harm’s way to protect our communities. [1, 2]

Lord, we ask that You blanket them with Your shield of protection. Grant them courage when they face danger, wisdom when they must make split-second decisions, and strength when their bodies grow weary.
