GODFirst Amen
God is described in the #Bible as the only God and the #creator of all things (Deuteronomy 6:4). We #worship #Jesus because He is first — #above all #rule and #authority — and #He #alone is #worthy of the No. 1 position in our lives.
Here are 10 verses to help us see why seeking God must always be our first priority.
Matthew 6:33
“But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.”
Matthew 10:38-39
“And #anyone who does not take up his cross and follow Me is not worthy of Me. #Whoever finds his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life for #My sake will find it.”
Matthew 13:44-46
“The #kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field, which a man found and #covered up. Then in his joy he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field. “Again, the kingdom of #heaven is like a merchant in search of fine pearls, who, on finding one #pearl of #great #value, went and sold all that he had and bought it.”
Matthew 22:37-40
“And he said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the great and first #commandment. And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. On these two #commandments depend all the #Law and the #Prophets.”
Ephesians 1:22-23
“And God put all things under [Jesus’] feet and gave him as head over all things to the church, which is his body, the #fullness of him who fills all in all.”
Colossians 3:17
“And #whatever you do, in word or deed, do #everything in the name of the #Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the #Father through him.”
Exodus 20:3
“You shall have no other gods before me.”
Proverbs 3:5-6
“#Trust in the Lord with all your #heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways #acknowledge him and he will make straight your #paths.”

To remind you who you are, become the Christ… The Nag Hammadi library is a collection of early #Christian and #Gnostictexts discovered near the Upper Egyptian town of #NagHammadi in 1945. Thirteen leather-bound papyrus codices buried in a sealed jar were found by a local farmer named Muhammed al-Samman. #GodIsWithIn #masculinity #feminine #toshowustheway what did Jesus do? Importance of Jesus’ Words
Jesus said, “for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you” in response to the Pharisees asking when the #Kingdom of #God will come. The saying has numerous explanations including that #enlightenment is within you, in your #heart, and your spark of #God has always been there. Our Father, Who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name; Thy kingdom come; Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Hail Mary, full of grace.
“It’s amazing what I find online”
I post for #myself. Yep, that’s right. I post most times to make sure I’m #relevant in this #world. I post to make #myself feel good. I’m not trying to be needy, but sometimes I AM needy aren’t we all In need of something at some point in time yes so those few likes or positive #comments make me #feelgood. #Sometimes if I’m in a funk, I throw myself out there into the #socialmediaabyss in hopes to grab onto the arm of another drifting #soul. It usually works, too. I post to #helpothers. When I find something that I think mayhelp someone, I’ll throw it out there. Hey, 98% of the people who read it may scoff at it, but that post might be useful to that 2%. I’m cool with that.
I do NOT post for anyone’s #approval. I do NOT post without #acknowledging the fact that what I post will not be received well by everyone. There are always #consequences for every action whether it be in #reallife or #online.
I won’t stop anyone from #posting what they want. It’s not fair for me to try to #changepeople to make #MYlifebetter. I can only #changemyself.
So postaway, #myfriends! Know that someone somewhere loves what you’re doing. 🙂
Then came these striking words: “Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.” (Luke 17:21) With these words, Jesus gave voice to a teaching that is universal and timeless. In Luke 17:20–21, Jesus says, “The kingdom of God does not come with observation; nor will they say, ‘See here!’ or ‘See there!’ For indeed, the kingdom of God is within you” (NKJV). The context of Jesus’ statement is a question put to Him by His Pharisee detractors who had asked when the kingdom of God would come (verse 20). There are three popular interpretations of Jesus’ words in Luke 17:21 that the kingdom of God is within you (or among you): 1) the kingdom of God is essentially inward, within man’s heart; 2) the kingdom is within your reach if you make the right choices; and 3) the kingdom of God is in your midst in the person and presence of Jesus. The best of these interpretations, it seems, is the third: Jesus was inaugurating the kingdom as He changed the hearts of men, one at a time.
For the time being, #Christ’s kingdom is not of this #world (John 18:36). One #day, however, the #kingdom of #God will be manifest on the #earth (#Isaiah 35:1), and #JesusChrist will #rule a #physicalkingdom from #Davidsthrone (Isaiah 9:7) with #Jerusalem as His #capital (Zechariah 8:3). #quantumphysics #light #vibration #energy #mystic #thesource #thevibe #stringtheory #create #influence #frequency #ancient #wisdom #knowledge #truth #Eternallove #eternallife

Metacognition is an awareness of one’s thought processes and an understanding of the patterns behind them. The term comes from the root word meta, meaning “beyond”, or “on top of”. Often, metacognitive strategies can be divided into 3 stages: planning, monitoring and reviewing. For more information on good questions to ask at each of these stages, click here. This involves teachers working with small groups of learners and modelling the use of four key strategies: summarising, questioning, clarifying and predicting. The students are then asked to teach these strategies to other students. Metacognition also involves knowing yourself as a learner; that is, knowing your strengths and weaknesses as a learner. For example, if you can explain what your strengths are in academic writing, or exam taking, or other types of academic tasks, then you are metacognitively aware. The metacognitive process, or cycle, involves three stages to coach you or your child through in order to improve their self-awareness and ultimately their executive functioning: Self-Monitoring, Self-Evaluating, and Self-Regulation. Metacognition is, put simply, thinking about one’s thinking. More precisely, it refers to the processes used to #plan, monitor, and assess one’s understanding and performance. Metacognitive skills include #planning, #mentalscripting, #positive #selftalk, self-questioning, self-monitoring and a #range of other learning and #study strategies. Some everyday examples of metacognition include: #awareness that you have difficulty remembering people’s names in social situations. reminding yourself that you should try to #remember the name of a person you just met. #realizing that you know an answer to a #question but simply can’t recall it at the #moment. Examples of #metacognitive activities include planning how to #approach a #learning task, using #appropriate #skills and #strategies to solve a #problem, #monitoring one’s own #comprehension of text, self-assessing and self-#correcting in #response to the #self-#assessment, #evaluating #progress toward the #completion of a #task.
The autonomic #nervoussystem is a component of the #peripheral nervous system that regulates involuntary #physiologic processes including heart rate, blood pressure, respiration, digestion, sexual arousal. It contains three anatomically distinct divisions: #sympathetic, #parasympathetic, and #enteric. #Autonomic dysfunction may occur on its own (referred to as “idiopathic”), or may result from underlying conditions such as diabetes or Parkinson’s disease. Different types of autonomic dysfunction include: Autonomic #neuropathy—Causes include diabetes, toxic exposures, an infection, or autoimmune disorders. Your sympathetic nervous system is a network of nerves that helps your body activate its “fight-or-flight” response. This system’s activity increases when you’re stressed, in danger or physically active. The sympathetic nervous system prepares the body for the “fight or flight” response during any potential danger. On the other hand, the parasympathetic nervous system inhibits the body from overworking restores the body to a calm and composed state. The sympathetic nervous system functions in actions requiring quick responses.
Increase heart rate.
Dilation of the pupils.
Secretion of sweat glands.
Dilated muscles.
Increased alertness.
Slowing down or stopping digestion.
Relaxation of the bladder. In the heart (beta-1, beta-2), sympathetic activation causes an increased heart rate, the force of contraction, rate of conduction, allowing for increased cardiac output to supply the body with oxygenated blood. Your parasympathetic nervous system is a network of nerves that relaxes your body after periods of stress or danger. It also helps run life-sustaining processes, like digestion, during times when you feel safe and relaxed. parasympathetic activity for positive emotions, whereas negative emotions (anger, fear, sadness) result in parasympathetic withdrawal sympathetic activation There are plenty of things that can help calm the nervous system. Deep breathing, relaxation techniques, and certain medications can help to ease anxiety nervousness. take break from whatever is causing stress can be enough to help the nervous system relax. #Love #Compassion #Caring
