It’s also been written “To truly follow God, John said you have to love, honor, and worship Him. Christians know God through Jesus, so to reject Jesus is to reject God.” So for me, I choose my GOD as my whole source of worship and love my Brother Jesus… because even Jesus worships GOD. The Bible never says explicitly whom Jesus worshiped, but it does say that Jesus glorified God (John 17:1, 4) which is very closely related to worship. Indeed, as God himself, Jesus deserves our worship (see Matthew 2:2; John 20:28).
No-one worships a religion
In general, no-one worships a religion, rather a religion teaches who we should worship. For example, Muslims don’t worship Islam but Allah of whom Islam teaches. In the same way, Jesus didn’t worship a religion, but rather the eternal God. Let’s explore this a bit further.
Jesus was born a Jew
Jesus was born a Jew (Matthew 1:1-17; Galatians 4:4; John 4:22), and as such, from a perspective of Jesus’ humanity, related to God through the law which Moses gave in the Old Testament (Galatians 4:4). To that extent, He didn’t worship Judaism, but He worshiped the God of Judaism – the God who revealed himself at the Exodus as “I AM” or “Yahweh” (generally written in English Bibles as “The LORD”) (Exodus 3:14).
All through the Old Testament God was revealing his plans and purposes to make a new people for himself, to bring them into a land under his rule and authority (Genesis 12:1-3). However, much of Israel’s actual experience was what the New Testament calls a “shadow,” (cf. Hebrews 8:5) that is, it was not the final reality of what God was going to do, but rather a picture, a bit like a model, if you like. Ultimately, the Old Testament ends looking forward to the reality of all that God had promised his people (Hebrews 11:39-40). One reason angels are rendered invisible to human sight may be that , if they were seen, they would be worhiped. Man, who is so prone to idolatry as to worship the works of his own hands, would hardly be able to resist the worship of angels were they before his eyes.18
The church at Colossae had been invaded by false teachers who were teaching a false humility and the worship of angels as a part of the means to spirituality. It seems these teachers were claiming special mystic insights by way of visions in connection with their worship of angels. Concerning this, Paul wrote:
Colossians 2:18 Do not let anyone who delights in false humility and the worship of angels disqualify you for the prize. Such a person goes into great detail about what he has seen, and his unspiritual mind puffs him up with idle notions (NIV).
The person attempting to make such judgment is described as one “who delights in false humility and the worship of angels.” The context suggests that he seeks to impose these things on the Colossians and that this is the means by which he attempts to disqualify them for their prize.19
This was demonic because it was an attempt to usurp the preeminent place and sufficiency of Christ as Savior and Lord (cf. Col. 2:10). It is no wonder, then, that the author of Hebrews, in the most extended passage on angels in the New Testament (Heb. 1:5-29), demonstrates the superiority of Christ to even the mighty angels (Heb. 1:2-4, 13).

From where do powerful statements come from? Is this solid! Or fraction is it gonna stand up through time or crumble? Is it clear thought or distracted? Did I use the correct words?
