I was a 1st Class at the time of the rescue Boatswain’s Mate First Class David Ramsey of the U.S. Coast Guard received the prestigious Gold Medal from the Association for Rescue at Sea (AFRAS) on October 2, 2007. Trust me it’s painful specially when all I did was run out of gas which is sad two Corpus Christi Texas officers pulled up earlier that day asked me if everything was okay I said clearly I’m out of gas have crutches and a soft boot on my left ankle that night two more officers pulled up and drug me out of my truck accused me of stealing the truck everything in it and my CBD I legally purchased as drugs!
