Serpent seed
This article is about the fringe belief that the serpent of the Garden of Eden mated with Eve and produced Cain. It is not to be confused with the Christian concept of the “seed of the serpent” (see Seed of the Woman).
The doctrine of the serpent seed, also known as the dual-seed or the two-seedline doctrine, is a controversial and fringe Christian religious belief which explains the biblical account of the fall of man by stating that the Serpent mated with Eve in the Garden of Eden, and the offspring of their union was Cain. This event resulted in the creation of two races of people: the wicked descendants of the Serpent who were destined for damnation, and the righteous descendants of Adam who were destined to have eternal life. The doctrine frames human history as a conflict between these two races in which the descendants of Adam will eventually triumph over the descendants of the Serpent.
I will cite five passages of scripture below that conclusively prove it. And we’re not talking about figurative language. We’re talking about physical, biological children of the devil.
Before getting to the scriptural references, it is worth noting that stories in popular culture about vampires and, more recently, “reptilian” aliens that look human (such as in the “V” movie or tv show) are allegorical references to the fact that there are creatures among us who look human, but are actually a separate species, who are at war with humanity. The term “#reptilian” is a reference to the fact that they are #childrenoftheSerpent (#Satan).
Scripture #1: Satan has offspring in the earth
In Genesis 3:15, God pronounces punishment upon the #Serpent for deceiving Eve and says to Satan, “And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and hers; he will crush your head, and you will strike his heel.”
And God mentions this at this time because #Cain was the #sonofSatan, which will be proven below. A whole article could be written on this subject, but the sin in the garden of Eden of “#eatingforbiddenfruit” is #symbolic #language referring to a #sexualsin. This is why immediately after they committed this sin, both Adam and Eve were aware and ashamed of their nakedness. Also, Eve was punished with pain in giving childbirth, noting the sexual nature of this sin. Placing “enmity” between the children of Satan and the children of Eve means there will be a continual #stateofhostility or #warfare between these two.
Scripture #2: Cain is the offspring of Satan
1 John 3:12 states:
“#DontbelikeCain. He was a child of #theevilone and #murderedhisbrother.”
Scripture #3: The Pharisees at the time of the Messiah were children of Satan
As recorded in John 8:44, the Messiah says to the Pharisees:
“You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies.”
Scripture #4: The Messiah refers to the Pharisees as “snakes”, and descended from Cain
Matthew 23:33-36 states:
“You #snakes! You #broodofvipers! How will you escape being condemned to hell? Therefore I am sending you #prophets and #sages and #teachers. Some of them you will kill and crucify; others you will flog in your synagogues and pursue from town to town. And so upon you will come all the #righteousblood that has been shed on earth, from the #bloodofrighteous #Abel to the blood of #Zechariah #sonofBerekiah, whom you murdered between the #temple and the #altar. Truly I tell you, all this will come on this #generation.
Referring to them as snakes and vipers is a reference to the fact that they descend from Satan, the great “Serpent”. The final word in this passage, “generation’, essentially means “race”. That word is translated from the Greek word “genea”, which refers to your line of descent. It is of the same root as the English word “genealogy”. He also says that they are of the same “generation” that was responsible for the murder of Abel. And who murdered Abel? Cain.
Scripture #5: The parable of the wheat and tares refers to children of Satan and #childrenofGod
This popular parable is explained by the Messiah in Matthew 13:36-43, stating in part:
“The field is the world; #thegoodseed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one”
A few final notes…
The Israelites were strictly forbidden by God to intermarry with the tribes that inhabited the area in and around the “Promised Land”. As the Israelites conquered the Promised Land, God even commanded the Israelites to completely massacre these tribes down to the last man, woman, or child. Why? Because many of these tribes were descendants of Cain.
Ever wondered why lengthy genealogies are so prominent in the Bible? In part, it is to prove a descent that is pure and not contaminated by these “serpent”/Satanic bloodlines.
